YES. You need a driver’s license only for the four-wheel drive training in the Core Course. Participants who don’t have one can observe and sit in the back. A license is of no relevance for a specialisation course. However, a driver’s license is often a precondition for any mission assignment.
YES. All meals served during the course are served in buffet form. A vegetarian option is always available. Pork is rarely served. The hotel staffs clearly indicate which type of meat (beef, pork, chicken…) is prepared and if a meal contains alcohol.
While some of the hotel rooms have a fridge, you will not have access to a kitchen in the hotel.
The dress code during class is casual plain clothes. The outdoor exercises in the Core Course take place regardless of the weather, and you will be outdoors all day. Please prepare for that and bring decent shoes (e.g. hiking boots), as well as outdoor clothes that can get dirty. Participants are encouraged to bring traditional clothes from their home country for the group picture and the closing ceremony.
